Lift Unavailable in Registry of Deeds, Henrietta Street Building from 25 July 2022 to September 2022
The lift in Registry of Deeds is overdue for replacement as the parts used are becoming obsolete and it has become unreliable.
A new lift will be installed by the Office of Public Works which will be more efficient, reliable and use ‘greener’ technology resulting in energy savings.
The installation project will begin on 25 July 2022.
There will be no lift available in the building from 25 July 2022 until early September 2022 and access to the Genealogical Room and Public Room will be via stairs only. There will also be occasional drilling noise during this period.
We wish to apologise in advance to customers impacted by the lift installation project. Staff will endeavour to provide all of our normal services during this time.
