Fees for lodgement of applications for Registration

(Note there is a separate arrangement in place for Solicitors in Practice)

As cheques can no longer be accepted from Business users (excluding Solicitors in Practice), Public Bodies etc. after 19 September 2014, when lodging applications for registration and applications for copy instruments must nominate a Landdirect account from which the relevant fees should be deducted. Users must therefore ensure that there are adequate funds in their Landdirect accounts for this purpose.

Topping Up of Landdirect Accounts

There are a number of electronic means available to ‘top-up’ landdirect.ie accounts. The options are:

Electronic Funds Transfer

Payments may be made by standing order, credit transfer or internet/on banking.

The Beneficiary account details are:

Beneficiary account: Property Registration Authority
Bank: Bank of Ireland, Smithfield, Dublin 7
Account No: 71909684
NSC (Sort Code): 90 00 92
BIC/Swift Code: BOFIIE2D
IBAN Code: IE94 BOFI 9000 9271 9096 84

The details required by the Property Registration Authority for identification of payments to your account are the Landdirect Account No. and Firm/Company name.

To assist us with monitoring this service, we would appreciate notification of the first payment made into the account. You may do so by emailing landdirectfees@prai.ie.

Online Top Up

Landirect now provides a facility whereby top-ups can be conducted online using a debit card or credit card. To access this facility, choose the ‘Account Maintenance’ option and select ‘Top up Account’. This utilises a service provided by the Local Government Management Agency which allows for secure payment through Realex, an independent third party payments provider.

Top Up By Telephone

You can now ‘top up’ your Landdirect account by telephone using Debit Card or Credit Card. For further details please telephone our Landdirect Fees Unit at 090 6632711 or 090 6632712.

This service is available from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
