Complaints Procedure
All staff in the Registration Division are committed to delivering a high-quality customer service.
If you have a complaint in relation to any of our services, please bring it first to the attention of the staff in the office concerned who will try to resolve your complaint as soon as possible.
If the complaint is complicated, you should put it in writing to ensure that all relevant details are given.
What information should you provide?
- Your name and address
- Any relevant reference numbers
- State your complaint
- The name of the official(s) or section(s) who dealt with you and
- A daytime telephone number, if you are happy for us to contact you by phone.
However, if you are not happy with the response received, you should address your concern to the Divisional Manager in the relevant area:

Having followed the above procedure, if you are still dissatisfied with the response received you may contact the Customer Experience Manager, Ruth Brennan, Tailte Éireann, Government Buildings, Golf Links Road, Roscommon, who will investigate the complaint. Please provide the details of your complaint by email to CustomerServiceOfficer@prai.ie, or by phoning (090) 66 32721.
If, having used the Registration complaints procedures, you feel that your complaint has not been properly handled, you may contact the Office of the Ombudsman, 6 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2.
