PRA Complaints Procedure

All staff in the Property Registration Authority are committed to delivering a high-quality customer service.

If you have a complaint in relation to any of our services please bring it first to the attention of the staff in the office concerned who will try to resolve your complaint as soon as possible.

If the complaint is complicated you should put it in writing to ensure that all relevant details are given.

What information should you provide?

  • Your name and address
  • Any relevant reference numbers
  • State your complaint
  • The name of the official(s) or section(s) who dealt with you and
  • A daytime telephone number, if you are happy for us to contact you by phone

However, if you are not happy with the response received, you should address your concern to the Divisional Manager in the relevant area:

Having followed the above procedure, if you are still dissatisfied with the response received you may contact the Customer Service Officer, Anne Heneghan, Property Registration Authority, Chancery Street, Dublin 7 who will investigate the complaint:

If, having used the complaints procedures within the Property Registration Authority, you feel that your complaint has not been properly handled you may contact the Office of the Ombudsman, 18 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin 2
